RETAINER BASED PROJECTS
Great news!
We are now offering retainer-based software development. What is that? You pay a fixed monthly fee for your software development project. No hidden fees. No upfront costs. No nasty surprises. We handle your development project in-house with our professional development team and maintain it indefinitely. If you want to make changes to your system, no problem. We will do it as part of the retainer contract. You don't have to worry about backups, disaster recovery, system upgrades, or hackers. Everything is covered by the contract. You're in it for the long term, and so are we.
As your software development partner, our goal is to free you to concentrate on the core elements of your business: serving your clients and expanding your operations!
RETAINER VS TRADITIONAL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
RETAINER MODEL | TRADITIONAL MODEL | |
---|---|---|
Startup cost | Monthly retainer amount | Typically, 20% to 50% of total project cost |
Budgeting | You have predictable costs. | Scope creep can cause the project cost to overrun. |
Final payout | Part of retainer | Rest of your project budget on the project’s completion. Completion might mean different things for you and the developer. |
Scope creep | Part of your retainer | Scope creep can cause conflict and budget overruns. |
Ongoing Maintenance | Part of retainer | Maintenance is charged on a per use basis. It can quickly escalate. |
Ad-hoc changes | Part of retainer | This will be done as a new project. Estimations might escalate over time |
Contingency into the long term. | Part of retainer | The development company might not be available to serve you. You might have to get a new developer and retrain him at additional expenses. |
Commitment | We are into it for the long term. | Developer leaves as soon as the project is completed. |
